Welcome!
This is Who We Are
New Community is a state chartered non-profit organization that is committed to serving the community in Washington D.C., inner city Baltimore, and outlying metro areas. The main area of focus is Montgomery County, MD, where the organization was founded and established in 2010. In our rapidly growing community, there is a constant need for various types of services that could improve our community. New Community is committed to understanding the community needs, developing programs to address the community needs, coordinate events to raise awareness to the community needs, and do everything we can to meet those community needs.
While every need can't be met, we can begin making a difference one need at a time, one community at a time, one individual at a time.
And since we won't be able to meet every need, we partner with other local organizations in order to accomplish our goals. Our current sole partner is Connection Church located in Rockville, MD (www.ConnectionChurchMd.org)

New Community will provide the services of volunteers to help those in the community who by physical or mental limitations have difficulty sustaining a livable, sanitary living conditions.
Prison Ministry
We are currently vision casting for opportunities to serve this people group- the incarcerated, the loved ones of the incarcerated, and the newly liberated. This people group have often be neglected and overlooked because of their past. But who of us are too perfect to help those who need it?
"Building FRIENDSHIPS and giving SUPPORT to the HOMELESS and MARGINALIZED community."
CityServe is a program that is soley focused on serving the homeless community. Monthly, we go to inner city Baltimore and/or Washington, D.C. to serve our homeless friends. We initiate relationships by serving lunch and various needed items. We build relationships by spending quality time getting to know our friends personally. As we build relationships with our friends, hopefully they would accept our advice, encouragement, and support.
